    Outside-Asher Roth

“Go out with your friends, man, stop pressing send,
Cause when this world ends, all that’s left is the memories.
Go ahead and have some adventure, please.
Ever since the turn of the century people losing touch of the beat.
So put your hands out, feel the breeze, feel the heat.
All I really wanna do is go outside.”

  5. 3 jobs this summer=no life=skrilla=car?

You heard it right, folks. This girl has 3 jobs for the summer.

While I will continue working for the catering business, I have been hired as a sales associate at 2 different retail stores in the mall.

I can’t believe I’m about to brave the goings on at the Asheville Mall— something I’ve never particularly cared to do, but when you live in a small town who isn’t hiring, and go to school an hour and a half away so you can’t be there to set things up, you are forced to not be picky.

So I had to venture to Aville to find to my surprise 2 places who wanted to hire me.

It works out because I actually like the stores, and hopefully I can spend my time wisely making cash money this summer.

    Cha ching!

  8. That cliche reflection post everyone does at the end of an ending…

Welp, finishing up my sophomore year at App and it sure has been an interesting one. A lot of things have happened over the year- some bad, some confusing, some interesting, but all in all, mostly enlightening. I’ve learned a lot about myself, friends, relationships, and my goals in life. I’d like to say that I’m coming out of this year with not having made any mistakes, but as life tends to be, it’s not as easy as it sounds and the truly wonderful thing about making mistakes islearning from them.So one thing I am leaving this year with is a list. A list of promises to myself.

    1. Become more involved next year (ie, join Student Ambassadors or APPS)

    2. Maintain a healthy lifestyle

    3. Remind my friends and family everyday how important they are to me (I feel I may have gotten lazy on this one, especially with the friends, but if they’re reading this and I haven’t told you, you have all had a huge impact on my life and I thank you so much for the experiences, challenges, and memories we have shared)

    4. Keep an open mind and an open heart (vague and cliche, I know, but it hits home with me)

    5. Don’t pass upanyopportunity that comes along that will better my life, even it seems hard and inconvenient at the time to go through with

I guess this was mainly a post for my own realization and thoughts to get out into words. I’m hoping for big things to happen this summer- and I can honestly say I have never been more excited to get back home. I have always been a home body, but this time last year I didn’t want the school year to end. Now I’m sitting here in the same dorm that’s been good to me for the past two years with the desire to experience something new.A change.I’m beyond excited to move into a quaint little apartment with my best friend next year. But until that gets here I think to myself “man… What a ride.” That warm southern sun is calling me back… And I’m coming home!

  9. I love pits!!

    I love pits!!

  10. [Flash 10 is required to watch video]

I don’t think I’ve ever LOLed to a movie trailer like this before… But oh my god! hahaha
